The outer boot affords an Integral gaiter constructed from 2 materials. The inner gaiter has an extra abrasion resistant material with a waterproof membrane. Outer gaiter is made of abrasion resistant and highly breathable Sympatex® membrane. The waterproof shell is one piece reinforced Teramida, with Lorica and Neoprene. Highly abrasion resistant Cordura liner with Sympatex® membrane and 6 mm EVA insulation. 1.4 mm Neoprene insulating insole, with anti-slip heel lugs for precise inner boot location.
The removable inner bootie is slip lasted for a precise fit and is made from highly abrasion resistant waterproof Lorica and Cordura-Sympatex® laminate. The interior is lined with waterproof breathable Boreal Dry-Line with Thermo-sealed seams. Triple Thinsulate® layers (no adhesives used) surround the foot, guaranteeing maximum protection from cold spots. 1.4 mm Neoprene insole for insulation with anti-slip heel lugs for precise inner boot location. 4 piece Neoprene Velcro-elastic closure and special Velcro-elastic heel fit adjustment.
The midsole is created with Boreal PBG 680 with lateral reinforcements for superior torsion control. Special three layer insulation system consisting of Radoma, triple layer Thinsulate® and Neoprene layers.
A Vibram Teton sole with dual density rubber sole, shock absorbing EVA and PU for all the cush you need. TPU heel and toe piece accept automatic crampons.
Excels in long winter alpine ascents, high altitude climbing and extremely cold conditions.
