PETZL Charlet Irvis CRAMPONS
Designed for hiking and glacial travel the 10 point IRVIS provides comfort for non-techical routes, treks and ski touring. The semi-rigid design flexes a bit for a more natural gait and is extremely versatile. Mid and rear points are angled at 45 degrees for good traction and braking power going up or down hill and front points are tapered to penetrate snow with each stride. Length adjustment is tool-less and fast in support of your choice of footwear and also suggests the possibility of sharing crampons with a partner. One of the IRVIS bindings is sure to work best for you: Choose the SIDELOCK for use with welted moutaineering boots, the SPIRLOCK for light duty alpine boots or the FLEXLOCK binding which will fit approach shoes, moon boots... and everything in between.
