HARPOONS are designed with vertical rails which are lightweight and completely rigid - eliminating any bad vibrations and allowing you to use any boot (flexible or stiff) that has crampon compatible toe and heel welts. Rely on solid sticks for frozen waterfalls and also predictable edging for delicate mixed campaigns with new forged front points.
