Beal ICE LINE 8.1GOLDEN DRY
Sometimes two ropes are better than one - like when ice climbing, ascending routes with a zigzag pattern of protection or long rock and alpine routes with multiple mandatory rappels. "Doubles" provide the leader with several options - both where to place gear and also where the ropes will run - to avoid sharp edges, cracks and flakes. Alternately clipping each rope also keeps rope drag and the fall force on your pro down to a minimum - good for long pitches, thin ice protection ...or a string of micro nuts. Employ the ICE LINES whenever you're swinging sharp tools, climbing fast and light in the mountains or want to split the load with your partner on long approaches. New GoldenDry treatment absorbs less than 5% of your ropes weight in water!

8.1 mm x 60M GoldenDry (light or dark) price: $180
8.1 mm x 70M GoldenDry (light or dark) price: $210
