Boreal PIRANA #11200 - END OF SERIES

The PIRANA is the solution for those of us wanting a bit more support and comfort without sacrificing performance or sensitivity. This model can do it all - from indoor, to Grade VI trad routes, over hanging heel hookin' sit starts to spit vertical knobs, splitter cracks and slippery slabs. Semi flat lasted with a moderate twist - stiffer than the ever-popular LASERS and more sensitive than the ACE - the new PIRANA holds an edge, even if you are hanging upside down. Check out the IRS molded heel cup with friction dimples and the reverse shingled hooking ledges that extend from the middle of the sole all the way up the back of the heel. Your Pirana's will sport a half length medium stiff midsole and hand applied and size graded FS-Quattro Rubber Sole with 4-4.6 mm thickness. Uppers canvas lined, with breathable split leather and smooth leather reinforced lacing strips and side tension bands to pull the sole up and into your arch - for an intimate fit. Made in Spain, shipped everywhere.

TOOL TIP: For a precise barefoot fit: Convert your US running shoe size to UK (ie US 8 = UK7) and subtract 1/2 - UK6.5.
