The VIPER is the 4x4 of ice tools, delivering good traction and clearance for efficient movement over both difficult icefall and convoluted alpine terrain. New stainless steel head accepts all BD tool accessories and comes equipped with Alpine (formerly Titan) Pick and your choice of Hammer or Adze. Hydroformed VIPER shaft has increased stiffness, lower weight and extends through handle to spike. Good grip is assured with support from adjustable Flicklock upper pommel and lower handle FANG - both which can be removed to streamline the tool for alpine climbs. Add a pair of detachable VIPER ANDROID LEASHES to the studs mid-shaft for wrist support - or enjoy maximum freedom with a SPINNER LEASH clipped from harness to spike (so you don't drop a tool).
