The BATURA 2 GTX is the super light crampon connection for cold weather ice fall climbers and go fast alpinists. With the close and precise fit of a single boot and the warmth of plastics the BATURA is built for long days of technical climbing, deep cold and even charging 6,000 meter peaks.
Warmer and lower profile and more breathable than your present single boots, the BATURA 2 GTX has a precise fit for highly technical climbing and bridges the gap between simple single boots and bulkier, heavy double boots. This new design integrates six layers of boot, insulation and outer cover into a stream-lined package of warmth and climbing power. Outer is crafted from stretchy, breathable Elastic Cordura/ Laminated Gore-Tex stretch membrane and has been updated with low profile radial zipper and velcro flap for natural and unrestricted ankle flex. Trick new lacing incorporates a pivoting cam (like ascender) for precise lace tension and control. The 2.0 GTX is built on the NEPAL last - a bit roomier up front for extra warm socks and some toe wiggling room. Count on Vibram rubber rand, Vibram Impact Brake System and comfortable PU midsole to absorb the bumps. Insole sports 3mm Honeycomb Tech insulating carbon material to keep the cold at bay.
