Super alpinist G14s are built to bite the ice with vertical oriented forged front points and flat constructed frame - which also attracts less snow build up. This is the alpinists crampon best used on technical ice and mixed routes with long glacier approaches and the likelihood of some snow pitches. Tool-less quick adjust feature allows crampons to be shared on mixed routes and is more versatile as a back up on expeditions or remote mixed walls. Choose either Cramp-o-matic Binding for use on stiff boots with toe & heel welts or the New Matic Binding (with toe basket) for flexible boots, increased security while wearing OVERBOOTS and expedition ease. Both require a boot with a prominent heel welt. Includes all the spacers and hardware to set up in mono point mode as well as ANTIBOT snow plates and ACCORDIAN.
