The REVERSO 4 is 25% lighter than it's predecessor - more (or in this case less) of a good thing! This now super lightweight belay/rappel device has multiple functions - great for the average climber and guide alike. Insert the rope, clip to your harness' belay loop (as shown) and you're ready to pay out rope for the leader or quickly lock down on a fall.
The REVERSO can also be used in auto blocking mode for belaying your second directly off a sturdy anchor (see instructions).
For rappelling, choose either low or high friction - to more easily regulate your speed based on the terrain - from low angle slabs to overhanging roofs.
New hot forged construction affords cut-outs and recessed side walls plus tapered V-shaped friction channels and asymmetrically grooved side walls - key to versatility and smooth operation.
