Upper body support is necessary for glacial travel, alpine climbing with a pack, on big walls with a heavy rack or for making long rope ascents with a CROLL chest ascender. A chest harness also will increase your "hang" comfort and keep your body in an upright position in case of a fall. Must use with a Sit Harness.
