Emerging from the birth of the clean climbing era and based on Tom Frost's decades of nut design (Stoppers, Hexes) we've reintroduced the straight sided tapered SENTINEL NUT. Key to both its holding power and cleaning ease are the relatively long faces which provide greater surface area contact without the "hang ups" inherent in curved nut designs. Easy to place, secure... and also easy to clean. Almost invisible are dual side-wise tapers which will seat nicely in moderate flares and pin scars. SENTINELS size grading allows 3 nuts to cover the range normally requiring 4 - so your rack is simplified and lighter without sacrificing placement opportunities. Available with either all around 8" or long 12" very flexible stainless steel wire slings for free climbing - saving a quick draw & biner at every placement. I'm sure Tom thought SENTINEL was the perfect name for these nuts as they will better watch over you and contribute greatly to your running belay system. Color coded.
