Hybrid construction creates the right performance blend of durability, flexibility and knotability for the repeated rigors of hauling, jugging and rappelling - big wall style. Thick 32 carrier duplex sheath resists abrasion over edges and repeated harsh use. The BIG WALL is the rope to break out for for extra heavy loads, multiple trips up and down El Cap each year or routes known to have sharp edges. Low elongation saves time (and frustration) when hauling by not having to take up all the stretch inherent in dynamic ropes (10% x 200 ft = 20 ft +) on each pitch. Cabled polyester sheath over cabled Nylon core. Not for leading. Made in USA.
