BLUEWATER
ICE FLOSS 7.7 MM CLIMBNG ROPE
The ICE FLOSS is the winter and alpine rope for
minimalists who balance weight and bulk with the
need for extra protection from sharp edges and
sharp tools. This rope combo is extremely durable
and fetches a whopping 12 falls in the UIAA Test
- confidence inspiring to say the least. Using
"twin technique" both ICE FLOSS ropes
are clipped to each intermediary protection point
for running belays. In case you need to "bail"
from a route due to weather or insurmountable
obstacles you can lower off one rope while being
belayed by your partner on the other. Climbing
on twin ropes assures efficient, full rope rappels
as well. The 37 M (122 ft) IF's are perfect for
glacier travel and crevasse rescue. Make sure
your belay device will handle skinny ropes - or
consult with your Sales Guide. Ask for a FREE
Bluewater ROPE BAG and CORDELETTE or WEB-O-LETTE
- on the house!
