ALPINE SENDER UIAA DRY 7.5
Twin & Half Ropes
The highest level of protection from
total rope failure can be had by using a pair
of ALPINE SENDER ropes thereby creating redundancy
in the belay system. In twin mode both ropes are
clipped to each piece of protection. In half rope
mode, clips can be alternated - to avoid obstacles,
reduce drag and better protect the follower on
meandering pitches. Either way, using a pair of
ropes is less susceptible to total failure ie:
being cut through by rock fall, a tool or by impact
over a sharp edge. Factor this into your thinking
when contemplating a difficult mixed ascent or
your next route in the mountains. Count on full
length rappel capability, the UIAA Dry Standard
Finish (absorbs less than 1.5% of total rope weight)
and compact, tight SENDER weave for great handling.
Indelible middle marks. Bluesign Certified manufacture
in Czech Republic. FREE Rope Bag on the House.
